facultative mating system similar to LA2157 .   The geographic distribution of these two populations with respect to the rest of L . peruvianum is analogous to the situation in L . hirsutum and L . pennellii .   All are predominantly SI, with Sc biotypes occurring at the northern r southern margins (Rick et al, 1979, Rick and Tanksley 1981) .
