Participation is voluntary and costs of activities are met by assessments to members. Membership is invited to contribute ideas and suggestions to make this organization more effective and/or expand its role.
Membership in the Tomato Genetics Cooperative as of March 3, 1986 was 352, representing 51 countries.
Reorganization:
Beginning July 1, 1986, the editorship for the Report of the Tomato Genetics Cooperative will be transferred to Cornell University under the able direction of Dr. Martha A. Mutschler and Dr. Richard Zobel. The Tomato Stock Center will continue to be maintained at the University of California at Davis. Requests for genetic stocks should continue to be made directly to the Stock Center as follows: Dr. C. The tomato linkage map will be updated for publication in a future issue of the Report of the Tomato Genetics Cooperative. Back issues of previous volumes (Report numbers 14 through 35) are available for $3.00 per issue. Check or money order (payable to Tomato Genetics Cooperative) should accompany requests for back issues to avoid delays in handling. After July 1, 1986, back issue requests should be sent to Dr. Zobel.
