When lutescent - 2 was reported (TGC6:17) preliminary tests indicated that it
was in linkage group VII.  The following data remove all doubt concerning
linkage and indicate that it is near H - probably between H and t.  In these
tests nonhairy was classified as a recessive rather than as a dominant.<p>
