Linkage tests with the curly mottled mutant (cm).<p>

Curly mottled has fairly good penetrance when grown under normal light
conditions, but in many genotypic combinations under winter light conditions
it is not expressed.  The fruit-setting ability also varies greatly, some cm
plants are highly fruitful whilst others set no fruit at all.<p>

The following linkage tests have been performed; no clear case of linkage is
shown although the chi squares marked with an asterisk do indicate disturbed
segregations.<p>
