Linkage tests with the curly mottled mutant (cm).

Butler, L.

Curly mottled has fairly good penetrance when grown under normal light conditions, but in many genotypic combinations under winter light conditions it is not expressed. The fruit-setting ability also varies greatly, some cm plants are highly fruitful whilst others set no fruit at all.

The following linkage tests have been performed; no clear case of linkage is shown although the chi squares marked with an asterisk do indicate disturbed segregations.
