Linkage between ag and H.<p>

Two independent F2 tests as indicated below have yielded significant linkage
Chi-squares.<p>

Even though family 190 is much larger it is considered less trustworthy for
detection of H since it was grown and classified in the greenhouse.  Family
322 was grown in the field where there were no difficulties in ascertaining H
and distinguishing H/H from H/+.  The contradiction between these two
estimates of linkage value and between these results and Butler's finding of
no indication of linkage make it clear that additional critical tests are
needed.<p>
