During the resistance tests of some tomato lines from the Institute of Vegetables and Potato of Tirana (Albania) at the Vegetable Breeding Station of Montfavet (INRA, France), a plant from ALB-13 line without anthocyanin, with grey aspect of the hypocotyl, was found (the plant N deg. 6).

The allelic test made in Montfavet and represented here tells of the reoccurrence of ai gene in the ALB-13 tomato line. The line ALB-13-6 (ai) has the same agronomic type that the line ALB-13. The ALB-13 line is indeterminate and vigorous, with medium fruits (6 to 7 cm), round shaped, regular and strictly with 2 locules the exterior color of immature fruit is light, with green shoulder the skin is yellow and the flesh is light red the pedicel is jointed the fruit resist to radial or concentric cracking the precocity of maturity is medium. This line is resistant to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici race o (ex 1) [gene I], to Stemphylium spp. [gene Sm] and to TMV [probably gene Tm-22].
