The last full sets of classical and molecular maps in the TGC were in the 1987 issue, volume 37, pp 34. Both maps have been updated and published several times since then in other sources. The most recent version of both the classical and molecular maps is in pages 6.3 to 6.15 of book six of the 1990 publication Genetics Maps, S.J. O'Brien, ed. Very few loci were either added or deleted from the classical map between 1987 and 1990. Several papers in this issue (vol 41, 1991) of the TGC indicate that several other single loci changes may be needed in a future classical map. The greatest change in the 1990 classical map was the correction of several errors imbedded in the reference list.
The molecular map in the 1990 Genetics Maps is still the most published RFLP map of tomato, however a newer, considerably denser map will be published by the Tanksley laboratory late in 1991 (S. Tanksley, per. comm).
