A workshop for tomato geneticists and breeders sponsored by the Vegetable Crops Program of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina has been proposed for September 8-15, 1985 in Fundo San German, Peru. The workshop will be organized by Delgado de la Flor (La Molina, Peru) and Miquel Holle (Cali, Colombia) and be limited to approximately 10 active foreign public and/or private tomato breeders and 3-4 Peruvian scientists. The proposed program will involve visits to two watersheds in South Central Peru to observe the natural habitats of Lycopersicon species, observations of commercial tomato production in Peru, and discussions of breeding methodologies and germplasm utilization. Interested individuals should contact Ing. Francisco Delgado de la Flor for further information. His address is as follows:

Status of Isogenic Stock Collection.Seed of isogenic stocks listed in TGC 34 have been increased and are available to interested users. Sources include isogenics or near isogenics for disease resistance (I, Ve, Tm^a^, and Cf\2\, Cf\3\, Cf\4\, Cf\5\ and Cf\9\), growth habit(sp, d), carotene synthesis (r, t, at, Del, B, hp,dg and l\1\ (or l\2\)), fruit ripening (rin, nor, and Nr) and anthocyanin synthesis (ah, aa, afr, af, ae and bls). The 1984 list erroneously reversed the sources of the first 2 groupings of disease resistant isogenics. The Cladosporium resistant isolines with Alsa Craig and Moneymaker were generously supplied by Dr. Boukema whereas the Cornell isolines were provided by Dr. Mutschler. Small samples of these lines are available from TGC.
Dr. C. M. Rick has pointed out that many of the single gene stocks available in the Stock Collection are also isogenic with the cultivar in which they mutated. For those interested in utilizing highly isogenic parent materials, this material should also be considered.
