Linkage tests with the mutant divergens (di).<p>

Seed of this mutant obtained from H.  Stubbe was crossed with various tester
stocks.  The preliminary results, all in the repulsion phase, are given below:<p>

In this set the only indication of linkage is with the chromosome 2 gene d\1,
but because of the large deficiency of di segregates in this class and the
next, this linkage is being checked in two other crosses.  Fragmentary data
also indicate that di is not linked with rv and ao, but do show linkage with u
and H.  If this is confirmed, the stocks will be turned over to Dr. E. Kerr
who is in charge of that chromosome.<p>
