Small F2 populations segregating for high pigment - hp, never ripe - Nr, uniform green - ug, and trifoliate - have been grown in most of the last five summers. Both genoaic and enviromental factors affect the expression of these genes. Segregants cannot always be accurately classified. However loose linkages suggesting the order hp 46 Nr 44 ug 45 tf have frequently been indicated. The data are presented here in the hope that others working with these genes will either confirm or refute the evidence.
