Segregation data for genes on chromosome 10.
Kerr, E. A.
Data accumulated since 1956 are given in the following table. Recombinations were calculated by the product-moment method. The gene for "hairs absent" is always scored as a recessive since heterozygous plants vary greatly in amount of hair. Plants homozygous for "hairs absent" are easily classified by examining the growing points at any stage from two-leaf to maturity. These data, with those of Butler TGC 5:11-13, TGC 6:11-12, Rick & Butler 1956, and Butler & Chang 1958 indicate the order and linkage are approximately pe-8-lg-35-u-24-h-18-l\2-13-t-32-Xa-15-ag.
