Integerrima and opaca.

Kerr, E. A.

Integerrima - int and opaca - op were obtained by Dr. H. Stubbe in X-ray experiments. Both were crossed with several markers at Vineland and the F1's grown in the fall of 1959. All F1's were normal except int x a c d l\1 r y and int x c d gs h j l\1 r which closely resembled c. Seedling counts of the F2 int x a c d l\1 r y gave 247 plants without lobes on yhe first true leaf, 77 plants with one or more lobes on the first true leaf and 9 apparently normal seedlings. The F2 Int x c d gs h i l\1 r gave 179:88:1 respectively. The normal seedlings probably were not mixture as they included 3 l\1, l l\1, d and l h. Opaca gave normal ratios with all seedling genes listed-except d. This gave 200 ++, 87+ d, 95 op+, 5 op d. The crossover value of 8 indicates it is on chromosome 2.
