Resistance to cracking.

Frazier, W. A.

In TGC 9:32, a cracking index (scale 1 to 10, with 10 free of cracking) was presented for several lines and varieties of tomatoes for the 1958 season. Background of the "WC" lines (fl-allele) selected at Oregon State College, Corvallis, was also presented. In the 1959 season, conditions were again conducive to very severe cracking and these data are presented here.
