A variety with the unusual ability to set fruit at low temperatures.

Frazier, W. A.

Mean minimum temperatures throughout the summer in the Willamette Valley are below 55 deg. F. Observation of a large number of varieties in 1950 revealed, not unexpectedly, that varieties from England, Germany, Sweden were superior in their ability to set fruit at low temperatures. One of the most interesting was the variety Puck, received from Dr. M. B. Crane, John Innes Hort. Inst., Hertford, Herts, England. It is a deteminate, very small vined, with medium size fruit, and unusual fruit setting ability.
